How does coalescing dehydration oil filter work?

Applications

●Purification of steam turbine oil and transformer oil

●Water removal and impurity removal for hydraulic lubrication system oil

●Connected to the hydraulic lubrication system to comprehensively improve the cleanliness of the system

Product Description

This machine has a five-stage filtration system, which integrates two functions of precision filtration and high-efficiency dehydration. The "coalescence separation" technology introduced from the United States for dehydration has high dehydration efficiency and strong ability, especially suitable for separating a large amount of water in oil, which is far better than the dehydration ability of centrifugal method, and can break all the oil-water emulsification structure in the medium ;Through the filtration of the particle filter system, the cleanliness of the medium can be stably controlled in the state required by the system to ensure the cleanliness of the oil; the physical and chemical properties of the oil are not changed, and the service life of the oil is extended; energy consumption Small size, low operating cost; excellent system configuration, strong continuous working performance, suitable for online operation.

1. Particle filtration system.

High-efficiency filter material is used as the filter medium. Large filter area design. It can effectively filter out extremely fine particle impurities. Make the oil reach a high degree of cleanliness.

2. Coalescing system.

The coalescing system consists of a group of coalescing filter elements. The coalescing filter element adopts a unique polar molecular structure, and the free water and emulsified water in the oil pass through the filter element. It is coalesced into larger water droplets, and then sinks down to the water storage tank under the action of gravity.

3. Separation system.

The separation filter element of the separation system is made of special hydrophobic material. When the oil passes through the filter element, the water droplets are blocked on the outer surface of the filter element and coalesce with each other until the action of gravity. Settled into the water storage tank.

4. Drainage system.

The separated water is stored in the water storage tank. When the interface height reaches the set value, open the wide door to discharge the water. When it falls to the lower liquid level, close the valve and stop the drainage.

Technical principle

Different liquids have different surface tensions. And when the liquid flows through the small hole. The surface tension is smaller. The faster the rate of passage. After the different mixed liquids flow into the separator. Enter the coalescing filter element first. Coalescing filter elements have multiple layers of filter media with increasing pore size layer by layer. Due to the difference in surface tension, the oil passes through the filter layer quickly, but the water is much slower; and because the coalescing filter element is made of hydrophilic material, tiny water droplets are even more adsorbed on the surface of the filter layer, resulting in the coalescence of water droplets. Affected by kinetic energy, small droplets compete to pass through the openings, gradually converging into large droplets, and settle under the action of gravity to separate from the oil. After the oil passes through the coalescing filter, there are still small droplets Under the action of inertia, move forward to the separation filter element. The separation filter element is made of special hydrophobic material. When the oil passes through the separation filter element, the water droplets are blocked from the outside of the separation filter element. The oil passes through the separation filter element and is discharged from the outlet.
