Multi-column self-cleaning filter products can effectively and reliably filter out mechanical impurities in industrial circulating water, and are widely used in continuous water occasions such as metallurgy, chemical industry, and power generation. Especially in the purification of hot rolling and continuous casting turbid water (containing scale and oil) in iron and steel plants, as well as in the net circulation system, the side filter treatment effect is particularly obvious. The multi-column self-cleaning filter is composed of a tank, a filter column, a backwash structure, a reducer, an electric valve, a differential pressure controller and an electric control box.

The horizontal partition in the tank divides it into upper and lower chambers, the upper part is the clear water area, and the lower part is the muddy water area. The two are completely separated. Several stainless steel filter columns are installed on the horizontal partition. The raw water to be treated enters the muddy water area through the inlet, and enters the inner cavity of the filter column from bottom to top through the water distribution holes on the diaphragm. Impurities that are larger than the gaps in the filter column are retained, and the clean water passes through the gaps into the clean water area. All the liquids filtered by the filter column are combined in the clear water area, and finally flow out from the outlet. When impurities accumulate to a certain thickness in the filter column, a pressure difference will be generated between the clear water area and the muddy water area. At this time, the differential pressure controller can automatically control the start of the backwash mechanism, or manually start the backwash system to remove the filter residue.
