In order to prolong the filter’s dirt holding capacity and working time, the method of increasing the filter area is usually adopted, but this The investment cost of this method is high, and the spare filter needs to be switched frequently, and the filter element is rinsed by manually disassembling the filter. If the replacement is not timely, the increasing pressure difference will shorten the service life of the equipment, affect product quality or cause failure of key downstream equipment .

The shell and tube backwash filter is equipped with multiple filter tubes inside, and the dirty liquid flows from the outside of the filter tube to the inside of the filter tube, and then flows out from the liquid collection chamber of the filter. The control adopts pressure difference/time control. When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter reaches the set pressure difference limit, the filter enters the reverse flushing process.

In order to ensure the good operation of each filter tube, the control system closes the corresponding water inlet valve and water outlet valve according to the pressure difference between the two ends (up to 0.1MPa) or when the filter tube reaches the specified self-cleaning time (for example, 120min), and at the same time opens the corresponding blowdown valve and backwash valve.


The backwashing pipe is connected with cleaning liquid from top to bottom to thoroughly clean the filter pipe and discharge it through the sewage pipe, then close the sewage valve and backwashing valve, open the water inlet valve and water outlet valve for normal filtration, and the control system continues to the next The filter tube is backwashed and circulated.


When the control system backwashes each filter tube, the corresponding inlet and outlet valves of other filter tubes are opened to ensure the normal filtering operation of the remaining filter tubes.
