The sand filter uses a sand filter bed of a certain thickness to filter out organic and inorganic solid suspended matter in raw water; it has a simple structure, mature technology, high cost performance, and a wide range of applications.

The sand filter filtration system can be composed of one or more standard high-speed filtration units. The raw water passes through the internal water distributor, filter layer and water collector, and uses the filter layer medium to effectively remove suspended solids and reduce turbidity. (If a specific filter material is installed, such as activated carbon, anthracite, etc., it can also absorb and remove the corresponding organic matter and harmful ions.)

Sand filter filter units range from 16″(400mm) to 60″(1500mm) standard series; non-standard series can also be provided according to customer requirements, which is the most economical and practical combination for customers.

It can be used as an independent filter system or as a side filter system. If multiple processing units are installed on a common pipeline, the filter capacity of the system can be infinitely expanded.

It can work stably for a long time under the condition of large flow and small pressure loss, energy saving and environmental protection, and basically maintenance-free.
