Oil filters have been used in various industries for electroplating and metal finishing, chemical and food processing to name a few. According to the material and structure of the filter element, the oil filter can be divided into mesh type, line gap type, paper filter type, sintered type oil filter and magnetic oil filter, etc. According to the location of the oil filter, it can also be divided into suction filter, press filter and return oil filter. Considering the self-priming performance of the pump, the suction oil filter is mostly a coarse filter.

(1) Mesh oil filter

It is a mesh type oil filter, the filter element uses copper mesh as the filter material, and one or two layers of copper wire mesh are wrapped on a plastic or metal cylindrical frame with many holes around it, and its filtering accuracy depends on the copper mesh layer. number and mesh size. This type of oil filter has simple structure, large flow capacity, and easy cleaning, but has low filtration accuracy, and is generally used for the oil suction port of hydraulic pumps.

(2) Line gap oil filter

Wire-gap oil filter uses steel wire or aluminum wire tightly wound on the outside of the cylindrical frame to form a filter element, relying on the tiny gaps between the copper wires to filter out impurities mixed in the liquid. Its structure is simple, the flow capacity is large, and the filtration accuracy is higher than that of the mesh oil filter, but it is not easy to clean, and most of them are oil return oil filters.

One: Preparation before use

1. Open the electrical box and check whether all electrical components are in good condition.

2. Check whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct, and it should conform to the direction of the indicating arrow.

3. Check whether the bolts of each part of the machine are loose, and the oil filter unit check whether the oil level of the vacuum pump reaches the oil mark line.

4. Close the cooler drain valve and all sewage valves.

5. Check whether the steel wire hoses are loose.

6. Check that the oil inlet and outlet valves of the oil filter unit are in the closed position.


  Two: Start the vacuum oil filter

1. Open the electrical box door and turn on the power switch.

2. Start the vacuum pump system. When the negative pressure of the vacuum gauge reaches -0.06Mpa, open the oil inlet valve of the vacuum oil filter, and check that the oil enters the coarse filter-heater-vacuum tank from the main oil tank.

3. When the oil level of the vacuum tank reaches the center of the observation hole, the oil discharge master switch can be turned to the automatic position. When the oil level of the vacuum tank reaches the high oil level, the oil discharge pump will start automatically, and the oil discharge valve will be opened immediately to discharge the oil. To the main oil tank, the pump will automatically stop when the oil level drops to the low line.


Three: Precautions during operation

1. During the oil filtering process, when the moisture content of the turbine oil is too high, a large amount of oil foam will be generated in the vacuum tank. At this time, the anti-air valve should be opened to reduce the vacuum, and the oil foam in the observation hole should be kept below the center of the observation hole for normal operation. Vacuum operation can be adjusted during operation, but pay attention to observe that the oil level of the vacuum tank is below the center hole.

2. The working temperature of the vacuum pump shall not exceed 75 degrees.

3. The temperature of the motor should not exceed 60 degrees

4. Pay attention to observe the pressure gauge on the fine filter. If the gauge pressure is 0.4Mpa, you must stop the machine and clean the filter screen.

5. If the oil intake is found to be reduced, check the coarse filter immediately. If the filter screen of the coarse filter is blocked, it must be stopped and cleaned.


Four: stop the operation of the vacuum oil filter

1. Stop the heating system

2. Stop the vacuum pump and open the air valve.

3. Stop the operation of the oil discharge pump and close the oil inlet and outlet valves.
